Non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages

  • Only in sealed containers up to 1 liter.

  • Alcohol content must not exceed 70%.

  • Allowed on board after security control.

  • Fee: Extra fees for overweight in carry-on or checked baggage.

 

Artwork (paintings, drawings, sculptures, souvenirs, trophies, etc.)

  • Treated as special baggage if large.

  • Fee: €75 (secure packaging required; passenger liable for damage).

  • Carry-on: allowed within dimensions.

  • Checked baggage: allowed.

 

Baby equipment

  • No quantity restriction, but liquids (e.g., water, milk) max. 150 ml per bottle.

  • Fee: none.

 

Bicycles

  • Non-motorized; saddle removed or handlebar fixed; pedals removed or secured.

  • Maximum length: 1.70 m.

  • Fee: €75 (special baggage).

 

Camping equipment

  • Flammable items (butane, propane, gasoline, matches, etc.) not allowed.

  • Tent poles/equipment outside limits prohibited.

 

Archery (bows & arrows)

  • Double protection required (bag + hard case).

  • Treated as special baggage.

  • Fee: €75.

  • Pre-registration: at least 2 weeks before flight.

 

Child safety seats

  • Not allowed.

 

Drones

  • Preferred in carry-on due to lithium-ion batteries.

  • Checked baggage: batteries removed and placed in carry-on.

  • ≤ 100 Wh: unrestricted.

  • 100–160 Wh: only with prior approval.

  • 160 Wh: prohibited.

  • Batteries must be short-circuit protected.

  • Pre-registration: 2 weeks prior.

  • Fee: none.

 

Electrical, photo or mechanical devices

  • Prior approval required from aviation authority.

  • Once approved: allowed in carry-on or checked baggage.

 

E-cigarettes

  • Must be carried in hand luggage.

  • Prohibited in checked baggage.

  • Fee: none.

 

Fireworks

  • Not allowed.

 

Food

  • Solid foods (sandwiches, fruit, cookies) – allowed.

  • Liquid foods (soups, stews) – usually prohibited.

  • Perishable or strong-smelling foods not recommended.

  • Fee: possible overweight charges.

 

Household items

  • Lamps, decorations – must be pre-declared.

  • Fee: as normal baggage or €75.

  • Secure packaging required.

 

Live fish

  • Not allowed.

 

Musical instruments

  • Small: allowed in hand and checked baggage.

  • Large (e.g., cello): up to 32 kg, 1.5 m, pre-registration 48h prior.

  • Fee: €75, secure packaging.

 

Portable oxygen concentrators (POC)

  • Allowed with medical certificate (MEDIF) and pre-registration.

  • Fee: none.

 

Paints / varnishes

  • Not allowed.

 

Parachutes

  • Often contain batteries or fuel cells; classified as dangerous goods.

  • Fee: €75 (special baggage).

  • Pre-registration: 2 weeks prior.

 

Electric mobility devices

  • Battery powered – dangerous goods.

  • Not allowed.

 

Snowboards

  • Allowed with secure packaging.

  • Fee: €75.

 

Ski equipment

  • Max. length 1.70 m, secure packaging.

  • Fee: €75.

 

Firearms & ammunition

  • Only in checked baggage, as per GOM 3.10.6.

  • Must be unloaded, in a hard case with lock; ammunition stored separately.

  • Pre-registration: 2 weeks prior.
